WAKEUP DOCKLANDS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All bookings are subject to these Terms and Conditions
Booking
By submitting your booking you represent to us that you have the authority to make the booking for yourself or on behalf of a group and that you accept that the booking is subject to these Terms and Conditions. A contract exists as soon as the booking is confirmed through our Online Booking Service Provider. You should check the details of your bookings carefully and promptly to ensure that it accurately reflects the arrangement you have requested. You should immediately inform us of any discrepancies or alterations up to 36 hours before your session in order for these to be taken into consideration. Any customers wishing to accompany another member booked after the initial booking will only be able to do so if sufficient places are available.
Punch Cards (Bulk buy ride tokens), Account Credit & Memberships
Punch cards, account credits and membership items purchased for the summer season (April 2023-> October 2023) must be redeemed before the close of business on the last Sunday of the season (29th October 2023). Punch card tokens are not redeemable the following year and all unused tokens and account credit will expire on 29th October 2023. All prepaid account credit expires on the last day of the season (29th October 2023) Please note: Punch cards are strictly non-refundable purchase items. Unused sessions due to injury are unable to qualify for reimbursement. Punch cards are offered for sale as discount wakeboard packages and are designed to offer reduced-price wakeboarding to people who wish to ride more regularly. Punch cards are designed for individual use only, however, if you are unable to use your allocation due to injury, illness, or relocation we then permit you to share your ride tokens with family, and friends or even sell them to another customer at cost price. Due to these concessions, we are not able to refund customers for unused punch cards at any stage of the season.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for one season only, during the season they are purchased. Vouchers purchased during the 2023 season (April ‘23->September ‘23) must be redeemed by the last day of September (30th) 2023. Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-changeable purchase items and are only redeemable for the activity for which they are purchased. Gift vouchers expire on 30th September each year. No extensions permitted.
Payments
All session prices are subject to change. However, once you have made your booking the price will not be subject to any change, with exception held for omitted details or invoice errors. To attend a session the booking must be paid for in full prior to its undertaking. Any session not paid for will not be valid.
Alterations
If there are any alterations you wish to make to your session we will do what we reasonably can to accommodate them, but this may not always be possible. The price of your session may increase or decrease to reflect these changes.
Cancellation
You may cancel your session at any time, however cancellation within the 36-hour period before your session starts or non-attendance will result in a 100% loss of your session cost. Outside of the 36-hour period before your session starts the cost of your course will be held as a credit on your account within our Online Booking Service Provider. We reserve the right, at our own discretion, to reattribute any lost session fees incurred through late cancellation or non-attendance.
Postponement
Sessions can be postponed or canceled at any time by WakeUp Docklands if adverse weather, dangerous or unsafe conditions, or any other circumstance beyond our control. In such an instance, alternative sessions will be offered or the session fee can be attributed to your account with our Online Booking Service Provider.
Equipment hire.
At the discretion of the management. We reserve the right to refuse equipment hire to anyone deemed to be in danger of damaging our equipment. We respectfully request that regular riders purchase their own equipment once they are beyond the beginner phase of their wakeboarding journey.
Safety
It must be understood that your participation in the activities available at WakeUp Docklands is your decision and at your risk. The staff at WakeUp Docklands have primary responsibility for the safety of the guests and equipment at all times and his/her decision is final. If you or any member of your group commits an illegal or potentially dangerous acts including carrying or taking of drugs on site, is under the influence of alcohol, persistently disregards the instructions of the session leader or duty manager, or is disruptive or exhibits difficult behavior, the session leader and duty manager reserve the right to terminate such person’s participation in the session with no responsibility to them. In such an event there will be no right to any refund and we reserve the right to make a claim for costs and losses incurred. Should damage or loss to persons or equipment be caused as a result of wilful damage or gross negligence by a customer, a customer under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or as a result of refusal or failure to obey instructions given by our staff, then he or she will be liable for the full amount of repair or replacement and any resulting costs. Adults will at all times be responsible for minors in their charge. Our vessels and crew are fully insured. Our policy provides full cover for the equipment and vessels and third-party liability cover for your session leader and guests. He cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any person caused other than through our negligence or breach of contract or for damage to your property howsoever caused and we recommend that you take out appropriate insurance cover yourselves for such uninsured losses.
